Foreshadowing

I am watching this film for the first time in years tonight and I am 6 minutes in and I never remember there being this much foreshadowing in the movie, its like every 5 seconds something happens to foreshadow the disaster. Between the conversation with his parents and the weird guy in the airport talking about death and the dad telling the main character to keep his son safe and later on in the film doesn't he say he has been in a plane crash before or am I making that up its been a while so I might be making that up. Why is there so much foreshadowing we get it they are going to die.

There's so much foreshadowing because this is a movie about premonitons.

But yeah, you're making up the part about the main character or any of the other characters having been in a plane crash before.

Kidding, but the first time you watch the movie you don't catch all the 'signs,' so to speak. Some are obvious than others, but yes. There is foreshadowing everywhere. Why? Just cause it's that kind of movie lol
