I love this movie and I think 14 years later its still fantastic and a movie that will not age BUT why on earth did it cost $52 million?

I don't think Julia would have been paid a giant amount and I don't see where else all that money went

Yeah, I think it may have been the first time a woman was paid that much to be in a film. I think most would say it did turn out to be a wise investment. 🐭
