Erin was definitely not the greatest mother or partner in the world, that's for sure. She was using her man and her children. She cared too much about strangers. Family comes first, ALWAYS.
BUT, this story did make for great cinema.
And that's why the world needs more Erin Brockoviches and less of you. You would let an "army of people" die and she wouldn't. Some women do nothing but pop out kids and some actually get s|hit done and contribute to the world. Erin continues to get s|hit done today. Her kids weren't walking the streets hungry or getting the s|hit kicked out of them like many others and her job ultimately meant less struggling in the long run. Erin exposed a horrible secret and helped a lot of people. I'd say she made the right choice.
