Considering she earned 2 million dollars & considering what she should have got in her injury case, I'd say the original figure was probably $200,000 which considering the man hours, traveling for 1.5 to 2 years of work is definitely an appropriate figure. However, he looked at it & realized that that's nothing considering he should be kissing her ass & paying for making him an instant multimillionaire again, so he increased it by an extra zero to the left of the decimal point. I had a feeling when the character had a nice chuckle it was going to be a high one and that he made sure she never would have saw it coming. At the end, that was funny. She spent the entire film with something to say and he stunned her so much she didn't have the words.

She probably asked for 6 figures, less than a million.
