Agree that this was a pretty out-there topic. Additionally, I have a hard time believing that a teenage guy would actually be able to get past that. Maybe I am wrong, but I couldn't see her telling him at all and saying what a huge part of her life it was and him being able to get past it. The whole thing was odd.

shareIt's a medical genetic disorder, and no, she wasn' born with a dick, in most cases it's something between. They have usually female organs inside, but outside is ambiguous (is it a large clitoris or a rudimentary penis?), that's why the doctors must decide which operation to perform. Sometimes they get it right (and it's much easier to "do a woman", than the vice-versa operation). Sometimes the gender turns out to be male, but it only shows later, when the personality develops & the kid doesn't feel like a girl at all.
