Rubbish

I was at high school in the seventies and I had friends at high school in the eighties. I have never ever heard of groups like this inhabiting schools. I know it can be difficult to come up with a new idea for a television show but this is way beyond lame. And I have no idea who is supposed to be watching it. For a slice of life you need to go back and watch The wonder years. It was perfect.

It's funny how the majority of Americans think that their experiences in high school, their stupid divisions, labeling, oppressions, etc. are quite normal and expected phenomenon everywhere in the world.

If you're not American I don't think it's relatable. I went to school in Australia and the UK and none of it resembled Freaks and Geeks in the slightest. Sure, you had a bit of a social hierarchy but it wasn't the whole "steal your lunch money and beat you up after school" type bully system, and sporty students didn't get the level of ridiculous worship that they do in American high schools. Hell, we didn't even have lockers for the last two years of school in the UK.
So yeah it's pretty much an exclusively American (and maybe Canadian too?) setup.

The Wonder Years was awful and you're a simpleton.

Wow, this was my high school. Exact same clicks, exact same people. I had friends in each group, was a fun perspective.
