Does anyone know why Jesse Metcalfe, who created the role of Miguel and played him far longer than the other two actors, is missing from IMDB's Passions page? If you you scroll through all the actors, the two actors who later played Miguel are listed, but JM is nowhere in sight. Passions is listed on JM's page though, but not vice verse. It seemed odd, so I thought I'd post here, in case someone knows the reason. Thx!
shareProbably because he's ashamed to have been apart of the show. I mean, Jesse Metcalfe is one of the only actors from the show to really become a star after leaving the show. It's great he left Passions because I thought he was a lousy actor on the show, but after seeing him in the new Dallas series, he's actually a decent actor. Not stellar but watchable.
Now the other actors to play Miguelito Lopez Fitzgerald were horrible. The second actor was just sexy, but a very poor actor. The last gentlemen to play him seem more like he was playing Miguel as a teenager not a man in his 20's. I believe the 3rd actor to play the role was once on Y&R briefly.

No. The third actor Blair Redford was the best Miguel.
And Jesse is not the only one to become a star. Mary Elizabeth Winstead did. Kim Johnston Ulrich did. McKenzie Westmore. Blair Redford (the best Miguel), Justin Hartley, Nick Stabile, even Lindsay Hartley is somewhat a star. They all became stars.

None of the Miguel's in my opinion were very good, just eye candy. But I give it to you that Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Justin Hartley became stars after leaving Passions, but Lindsay Hartley is hardly a household name. She's only famous for playing on All My Children as Cara and I saw her in a Hallmark Movie. Kim Johnston Ulrich appeared in a few things following Passions but she's famous for her 3 years on ATWT. Eva Tamago is still playing a maid on TV.
I've seen a few stars from Passions pop up on shows following the finale most of them in small roles. I've seen a number of actors in other works prior to Passions like Ben Masters, I used to see him in a lot before starring on the show also, Kathleen Noone and John Reilly.

Eva Tamango (Theresa mother) is playing a maid on OWN network on that one Tyler Perry drama show.
I seen Jesse Metcalfe a couple of things, Kathleen Noone (Sheridan mother) I seen her in a movie called Klepto and I think something else. The 2nd Alister Crane I seen in him a few things. I seen Brooke Kerr (Whitney) in a few sitcoms like Steve Harvey Show, Smart Guy, and she was in a couple of music videos. The one that played Whitney sister (the first one) she was in an episode of Moesha.
How rude, Jesse should be listed. He was the definative Miguel.
Yeah the biggest stars to come out of Passions has to be him and especially Mary Elizabeth Winstead. I could see she had potential in the early days of Passions. She played a really good Jessica.
