Luis -Ethan Theresa and Other Things

When I see Galen Gering and Eric Martsolf on 'Days' I sometimes kind of miss them in their old roles of Luis and Ethan on 'Passions'. Odd because I originally thought 'Passions' in 1999 at the start was cheesy and mushy.I saw it from the beginning where it took the place of 'Sunset Beach' which I thought was the lesser of two evils.

The best years of 'Passions' were the first three where Tabitha and Timmy were a team. I just couldn't believe the humor and sometimes slapstick situations they would sometimes mix in with serious themes.Supernatural elements and parody was also in the mix like no other soap opera.This show had some memorable characters that I miss.I prefered the original Ethan (Travis Schuldt) to the second (Eric Martsolf) and thought that Luis should have wound up with Sheridan--not Fancy.

I remember that Theresa and the original Ethan made an appearance at a high school track meet in person.I read about it in the paper and drove over to the school I had never been to just to see what it was like and saw them.They don't do things like that anymore.

Theresa was so important to the plot on 'Passions' but when Lindsey Hartley went to 'Days' they killed her off like she was expendable.Many injustices were on this show like what happened to Grace-TC -Chad and Fox.

I missed the last year when it went to Direct TV. Did Grace ever come back on the show?

They dropped the ball with the Grace, Charity, Tabitha storyline. Grace was on her way back to Harmony but died in a plane crash. I was hoping that she and Charity would return and fight Tabitha for killing Faith. Tabitha turned into a Sesame Street character when she gave birth to Endora. There was no more excitement from Tabitha and it's a shame because Juliet Mills was awesome as the Tabitha when she was with Timmy the doll. I wish we could get the Tabitha / Timmy years released on DVD. I would buy those in a heartbeat.

They were better on Passions Galen and Eric.

They were better as Luis and Ethan and Theresa than Rafe, Brady and Arianna.
