I had a question: Does anyone know when Craig Ferguson takes over?
I love Conan. The problem is he is almost always reruns when you tune in. Last night It was a rerun from right before Collateral came into theaters...I can forgive him -- its the holidays, so reruns are expected. I find myself tuning into Conan first, but if hes a rerun, I click over to Late Late Show...

Kilborn was hilarious. Too hard to replace him, especially with this guy ferguson- who sucks.

I liked Ferguson as Mr. Wick. I don't like the thought of him as a host.
I only caught one episode of Kilborn, it was like the 1000th episode and John Cleese...anywho, he was really calm, but still funny. I liked it. Ferguson isn't that kind of guy, he's a dope fiend. Clearly more of one then Kilborn. I don't like that.

Craig Ferguson as Craig Ferguson is far funnier than Craig Ferguson as Mr. Wick. He's sharp, funny, and absolutely twisted.
shareI've got to agree. I didn't start watching till Ferguson had taken over, and I think he's adorably depraved, in a completely charming way.

What I like best about new Craig's style is the guests aren't all Hollywood people. He has had some authors and different types of musical guests. I also like the fact he calls us naughty monkey's. We know he's gonna say it, but it gets a laugh every time anyway. He also agnoledges when a skit idea doesn't work. I miss Craig the first's quirky wit and the fact he would embrace his love for the Timberwolves and Barry Manilow.
shareI don't know how long he can keep it up but Ferguson's monologues are one of the best things on television. He seamlessly segues back and forth between current events and stories of his personal background and they are truly HILARIOUS! Like Letterman, Ferguson is a really interesting character who we want to learn more about. While Leno may be a better joke teller, his lifetime devotion to cars and motorcycles just isn't that interesting to hear about more than once. Ferguson's more exotic upbringing in Scotland seems to be a bottomless barrel of fascinating tidbits. I had grown tired of Kilborn after a few years and went back to taping Conan but Ferguson has won me back...at least for now.
