This "movie" is a perfect example of why everyone thinks that sequels suck! This is one of the worst movies, in recent memory, that I have seen. The acting sucks, save Loretta Devine, and the movie lacks anything that makes horror, horror! I thought for sure that this movie wouldn't suck, after all the first Urban Legend is a horror buff's dream come true, but they totally took what had the potential to be brilliance, and turned it into utter crap. Up until the kidney heist (yes, it actually happens in this movie) this suck-fest isn't half-bad, but the kidney heist happens to the first girl to go, and we all know that in horror movies the first victim is gone within 15 minutes...so. Amongst all the movie within a movie action and real murders taking place, they manage to throw one more load of crap in our faces...a guy who "killed" himself has a ghost that actually ends up being his twin brother that no one knew he had. If they plan on making a third installment, which, after this crap, I don't know if I can handle it, producers, directors, whoever needs to take my advice... bring back Loretta Devine and Rebecca Gayheart, since she's obviously alive, and start with a premise that doesn't have a film school, twin brothers, and a fencing mask. That's my 2 cents!

i thought it was about an average movie but

the scene with the 2 killers at the end from each movie, that made my day VERY Hitchcock and just made me smile.

Personally when watching a movie i judge if i enjoyed it, not if it was cliche or poorly done. I enjoyed this movie, doubt i watch it again but it was worth my time.

why wont they make a third one......... these movies suck but theyre so much fun...... the first one was great and i love urban legends...theyre so creapy.....they need to make a 3rd (the scratching scene on the hood of the car in the first one is a great scene)

They ARE making a third movie! It is called "Urban Legends 3: Bloody Mary" And it was filmed in Utah At my friends school Granite High School. From what I've heard from everyone, it looks pretty lame! Haha! But I'll probably see it just because my friends school is the setting! Haha! xD!

makeing a third... i dont smell bull, but i do smell box office flop-even if it does (by sum miricle) turn out to be gd; after the 2nd no one will want to see it.
the film didnt suck, up untill simons death which was boring and unimagnitve. the ending was...*YUCK*
the only reason i could sit through this, was for my luv for Marco Hofschnider.(and he deserved a good death-what was urban about been hit over the head??)

were is the urban ledgan in killing urslef and that girl who turns around 2 find sum 1 filming her, then gets killed whilst being filmed...wot is that all about?
UL1 wos the best of the 2 coz it had...um..urban ledgens in it.
All tho i ant seen the endin 2 UL2, it seemed 2 go down hill after the first girl that waz beheaded using a bathroom window, that waz pretty good.

Why the hell didnt she go feet first out of the f'in window, every1 knows that, its just like runing out of the front door instead of runin upstairs.
if u go head first out of a window...u wont be able to land on ur feet without breakin ur neck.

hope it ant ture abot the 3rd film.
Bloody Mary, soundz kinda familar...seeming its from the 1st film wer they try to "wake the dead".

just to answer ur question, there is an urban legend where woman are killed while being filmed. i don't know bout the suicide though.
