This movie is just a blatant rip off of Scream 3.

Of course Scream didn't invent the whole movie-within-a-movie idea but come on... Even the death scenes are the same!

The two guys getting electrocuted is the the EXPLOSION scene that happened in Scream 3 only this movie didn't have a budget to include an explosion.

The blonde ditz getting killed on camera is Sarah Darling's murder. The whole comical scene leading up to her death is JUST LIKE what happened to Sarah Darling in Scream 3! Also, she runs around the FILM STUDIO trying to fight off the killer JUST LIKE Sarah Darling.

The costume is a white mask in a black cape-thingy. (ghostface)

One of the main characters is washed up COP (like DEWEY)

Compare the posters. The cast are standing in a V shape just like on EVER Scream poster. GAG!

I can't believe Dimension didn't sue! It's just a sad, sorry rip off!

Oh and... this movie also includes a backstory about someone's BROTHER.

Yeah it did have it's similarities. No complaints here though; I liked the film within a film aspect. Weren't they released around the same time any way? I don't think they'd have enough time to rip it off even if they wanted to.

is not the same, the deaths are not even the same way, the two guys that were killed in the mine were electrocuted, the two guys in scream were killed one in the explosion and one in in deweys trailer, and the costume was totally different from one movie to the other, scream black robe with a white mask, and urban legends 2 it was a black slicker with a black faceless mask, and the death of sarah darling, is different from the urban legends, every single horror movies have cops, and a lot of movies do the v shape in the box, so no they are not the same.
