Twin brother? - Genius!!!

Ok so the genius part is exaggerated. I saw this for the first time a while back and when it was revealed he was his identical twin I thought "this is crap, anyone can see its the same actor". Thought it made the movie far too cheesey.

BUT - - -

Having watched a second time recently, the "twin brother" scenario, where its BLATANTLY the same actor is quite clever. There's always that element of "he's gonna kill her cos he's not really the twin, but the original character".

He's the kind of character you're never quite sure whether u trust him or not.

But on another point, is anyone else able to guess who killers are these days, due to the fact they're often semi-main characters, i.e. they have a speaking role but only appear rarely - i.e. the principal in this film.

Dont pull me up cos I know there are exceptions!!!! (Billy in scream for example), just noting that its ususally never who the film makes u think it is.

I still think its a contrivance that doesnt add or move the plot along at all. Its not like he posed as his dead brother to get the real killer to confess. It serves no real purpose. The "suspense" provided by him possibly being Travis just doesn't cut it for me.

I was admiring the guys face during the the porch scene while he was drinking and smoking and noticed he had a scar, so through the whole movie the twin thing just made it ridicuous! I kept looking at his scar!

Sometimes I doubt your commitment to sparkle motion
