why did he killed this woman?

hoi
i've seen the movie yesterday and i think it's pretty silly and confusing. but, anyway, my question is: why did he killed this woman at the beginning of the movie? (the woman he met in this bar)
she had nothing to do with the movie, didn't she? well and i think they should had gave us more hinds that the professor was the murderer... well, thanks for answering ;D

She was killed because she was part of Travis' film. Towards the end (If you pay attention...which with this movie...its kinda hard) you find this out, but by then you dont exactly feel like watching it anymore.

Not only was she killed because she was on Travis' film, but because it made for a really cool death scene that makes me cringe everytime i watch it. But your right, they should have given more hints that The Professor was the Killer, because they give you all these Red Herrings and finally at the end, he comes up as the Killer and your like "What?" ya know?

Well hope this helps.

What's your concept of being cool? Banging the entire senior class starting with A?

'Cos God forbid a horror movie actually keeps you guessing for once.

Being unstable and bitchy is all part of my mystique

That's the thing, it doesnt keep you guessing. They give you so many hints for OTHER people being the Killer that when the Professor comes out as the Killer...your thinking to yourself "Oh..." i didnt say you couldnt guess, i said they should have had more clues towards the Professor, because without them, you cant assume he's the Killer, just like you can't put someone in prison for murder if you have no clues and its all just an assumption.

To Die, Would Be An Awfully Big Adventure...

It was a good shock, there were no hints of Brenda in the first one, that's why that was a big shock. There were so many clues that it was Robert Englund's character or the janitor in the first one, just like in here where Jennifer Morrison's character doesn't know who to trust, the killer could've been anyone. It happened to be the Professor. He was a good baddie, I like how he started going mental and repeated her when she had the gun was pointing at him.
