Caleb Mandrake

Among all of the silly things that are presented in this movie, probably the most silly is the idea is that Mandrake would name his son Caleb. Caleb is a name from the Bible and Mandrake is probably the most unlikely candidate to name his son after a Bible character ever.
Just my two cents. . .

it is called irony...

he must have been debating between a biblical name of "caleb" and a non biblical name of "penis-cake"

c'mon... how many biblical names are there, and how many non-biblical names are there? Mandrake obviously had traditionalist ties, even if he's a "bad" person.

(And who said all biblical names are "good"?)

[I always thought it was interesting that Seth was an egyption god of evil.]

maybe he or his wife just really liked the name Caleb and didn't necasarily take it from the bible.

~But that's just me~

To the post before me: That's what I was thinking.

to the two posts before me: My name is Ajay, spelled in the traditional Indian spelling, and my parents aren't associated with India and I dont pronounce it "Ah-Zhay" like they do in India...

Point: Just because someone has a name with some significance doesn't always mean the person is supposed to embody that significance.

Although I do like the irony thought.
