THIS IS NOT A PREQUEL!!!!!!!

28 days is not a prequel to 28 days later!! 28 days is about drug rehabilitation and is set in America. 28 days later is about germ warfare and killer zombie people and is set in England. The two movies have nothing in common at all, they are not related in any way, shape or form!!

In all fairness, they weren't really zombies, they were just diseased people. Zombies eat flesh--the things in 28 Days Later just wanted to infect everyone. You never see them eating people because zombie's do that. These people were just sick.

I don't think that they wanted to infect other people, I think the infection just made them extremely hostile and want to attack people ... hmm, but then why weren't they attacking each other ... hmm, they must know the difference between infected and not infected ... hmm, so I guess that they were trying to attack only those that were not infected, so I guess then perhaps they were trying to infect people !

=p~

Great film, "28 Days Later...", it's the most I've been scared in a film since I watched Alien and Aliens on video when I was pretty young.

The movie would have been good of the zombies ate Sandra Bullock. That would be WAY Cool.

I shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.

28 days later is the sequel.

there are a ton of subtle references to 28 days if you watch closely. in the scene where they get a flat in the tunnel, if you look really closely two of the zombies are SANDRA BULLOCK AND VIGGO. very sly and clever. also, the number 28 is very important in both movies. coincidence? in think not...

also, if you listen to the commentary for 28 days later, Danny Boyle explains how Sandra and Viggo's characters go on vacation to London just before the outbreak. They cannot leave and become infected. it makes perfect sense.

i dont understand how anyone can doubt that these two movies are related.

I'd like to point out that in 28 Days, Sandra and Viggo never ended up with each other. She was falling for him, and then he had sex with some other women, she didn't forgive him for that. I saw the movie 28 Days Later in the theater, there for I haven't seen the special features on the DVD, but if the director truely did say that, then I am sure he was just joking, because of all the hype that was made about it.

You know- you can't make the zombies/infected get help. There's no forcing them- they have to hit their own personal bottom and they have to sincerely want to get help. Hence the sequel "28 weeks Later"- a classic relapse epic. I think eventually they'll come around, but they have a lot more suffering to do first.
