joy to the world as her send off song..

okay, this song was only shown in the movie in her flashbacks to memories of her mom.. you never see her mention the song to anyone, so why did they sing it as her send off song at the end... how could they know it has any meaning to her

Just because we don't see it doesn't mean it didn't happen..
She could've mentioned it in Group therapy.

Considering the song is a memory link to her mothers alcoholism, to her own alcoholism and addiction, I'm surprised they sung it as her "go stay sober" song.
