i need a **SPOILER**

Hey! Hope this will help a bit. I just watched the movie, but I was switching channels some times, so I may be repeating things you know, or forgetting tiny details.

Since the timeline in the movie is really jumbled up, it’s a bit hard to explain. The sheriff wanted to know which guy the girls (Alicia & Hadley) were fighting over at the bar. Turns out it wasn’t over Trevor, but over Hadley’s father. Alicia had erased a phone message on Hadley’s machine and went out to meet Hadley’s father. They talked during supper and she suggested that she could be a good employee (or something like that). That night, Hadley had her accident and went to the hospital where an orderly was hitting on her. Next morning, Alicia goes to visit Hadley and around the same time, Dad shows up. The father sees Alicia and tells her that he’s thought of her idea and thinks it’s very good. Hadley goes completely nuts after Alicia leaves. She tells her father that she can’t believe that he would employ a complete stranger and NOT his own flesh and blood. She grabs the phone and calls up Alicia and forces her father to withdraw the offer, but he doesn’t do it and HE forces her to congratulate Alicia instead.

So right there, you’ve got motive for murder!

Then the sheriff explains that she exchanged sexual favors for the drug (so it came directly from the hospital). In other words, she seduces the orderly (the ugly one that was hitting on her that first night) to give her the cocaine. When she comes out of the hospital, she puts it somewhere where she knows Alicia will find it (in a drawer in her room, I think). Later, we see another scene at the hospital, where Hadley confronts Alicia and just tells her to basically f**k off and that she knows that Alicia's persona was all fake. No need to tell you that she is EXTREMELY mad.

We see Alicia taking the coke and “odeing” in the bathroom and one of the girls finds her there (sorry can't remember her name). She starts CPR and screams for help. No one answers, but Hadley is there (in another room). The girl screams again for someone to call 911. Hadley finally intervenes and says she’ll call another dorm (or something like that) where there’s a doctor 24 hours a day. That way, she doesn’t get the police involved. But she doesn’t think that Alicia is in a really bad state. She goes into the bathroom and sees the blood coming out from Alicia's nose and realizes that Alicia TOOK ALL THE COKE. «You weren’t supposed to take it all…, she mumbles. » Then, she starts to panick a bit and exchanges the papers (containing the coke) and stuffs the paper that contained the 100% coke in her breast pocket (she's wearing a pink robe). The sheriff remarks that she completely forgot about it afterwards and he has it as evidence. He also checked the hospital quantities.

It's always back in forth in time (and since the sheriff is talking OVER the images, it gets pretty hard to explain)

Hadley finally calls 911. The sheriff tells us the time of each phone call, and unfortunately for Hadley, there’s a lot of difference between both and also alot of time elapsed between Alicia's collapse and the first phone call. He concludes by saying something like «… you may not have wanted her to die, but you arranged it so there might not be an alternative…». He then says:«I'm sorry.» and walks away and the last thing you see is Alicia opening her eyes in the hospital.
