Ok, beside the Fop vs. Dapper Dan line one was:
"Them's si-REENS"
"Baptism! You two are just dumber than a bag of hammers!"
I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Mutiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous.
I'd seen the movie about four times before I heard Pete say "84 years old. I'll be gumming Pabulum!"
Also when George Nelson is on the way to his execution, a woman in the crowd yells "Cow killer!"
Also when Delmar says: "Oh George, not the livestock"
"Any of you boys know your way around a walther ppk?"
"Now that's where I cant help ya, I dont believe thats in missippi"
Also "Hand me that choppa!"
"Hey Mister! I dont mean to be tellin tales out of school but theres a fella in there that'll pay you ten dollars to sing into his can!"
"I'm not here to cut a record you dumb cracka! They broadcast me out on the radio"
"Excuse me sir, Martin and Allouishis will have to just sign X's only four of us can write"
"That'll be fine"
"do miss her cookin though"
"this stew's awful good"
"you think so? I slaughtered this horse last tuesday, I believe shes startin to turn"
ALSO.... I had to add
"Well, isn't this place a geographical oddity! Two weeks from everywhere!"
"I slaughtered this horse last Tuesday. I'm afraid she's startin' to turn."

Not all conservatives are stupid, but most stupid people are conservative.
ApostleofWonka,
Any chance I could talk you into refraining from posting your political views/insults here ? I visit this site to take a break from it all. There are plenty of 'political' forums on the 'net where you can post 'til your hearts content. I enjoy film and enjoy reading others comments on these films - I don't need to know your politics too. And it may not have occurred to you but not everyone sees 'politics' as you do, why alienate these people with your constant insult ?

He or she wasn't posting his or her political views there. That was his or her IMDB signature, sir or madam.
Stanleyhetz, you are a long time, and experienced IMDB poster. Why would posting a political view in a signature be really any different than in the body of a response? It is out there for all to see, so what is the difference?
Wow! So many to list!
1) (after falling off the train)
Pete: "Suits me! I'm votin' for yours truly."
Everett: (jerking on the chain)"Well, I'm votin' for Yours Truly, too!"
(both look at Delmar expecting a tie-breaker)
Delmar: "OK. I'm with you fellas."
2) Everett: "Ain't this a geographical oddity! Two weeks from everywhere"
3) Pete: "You stole from my kin!"
Everett: "Who was fixin' to betray us."
Pete: "You didn't know that at the time."
Everett: "So I borrowed it till I did know."
4) Everett: "Uh, OK, sir, but Mert and uh... Aloysious'll have to sign x's - Only four of us can write.."
(It took watching the movie 4 times before I realized Everett conned the station owner out of an extra $20 with this bit.)
5) Everett: "No, thank you, Delmar. A third of a gopher'd only arouse my appetite
without beddin' her back down."
6) Everett: "Ain't it a small world, spiritually speakin'? Pete and Delmar just been saved. I'm the only one still unaffiliated."
After George Clooney's character was thrown out of the five and ten store:
"... AND STAY OUT OF WOOLWORTH'S."

By the way, I am not a fan of the film. I found it aimless and protracted, but it did have some good songs and a little bit of good dialouge.
I have tried to like the film. Even going as far as reading trivia and background details, but still I am unmoved by it all.
Here is a good link for facts about the entire production:

Ye Olde Sig Line:
Liberals kill with ABORTION.
Conservatives kill with the DEATH PENALTY.
I kill with THOSE and WORDS.
just the one store, or the whole chain?
shareTOMMY: I had to be at that crossroads las'midnight to sell mah soul to the devil.
EVERETT: Well ain't it a small world, spiritually speakin'! Pete and Delmar just been baptized and saved! I guess I'm the only one here who remains un-affiliated!
Weeell, it's a well run campaign, midget and broom and whatnot.
shareLove that whole scene. Charles Durning is so good. I like when Junior recommends they get there own midget for the campaign..."even smaller than Stokes'." Pappy says they would look like a bunch of "Johnny-come-latelies" if they got their own midget, "...don't matter how stumpy!" So funny.
Rule #76: No excuses. Play like a champion.
best campaign ever
shareI am the only daddy you got. I am the damn paterfamilias!
share"That don't make no sense!"
Dodgson! We've got Dodgson here!
Damn! We're in a tight spot!

this isn't my favourite line but when they repeated "dam we're in a tight spot" i knew I was going to love the film
shareIt was hilarious when the camera changed to the police officers but you could still hear Everett in the background say " Damn, we're in a tight spot". lmao
