It's Official! Cloud Ten Pictures will remake Left Behind Movie

!Cloud Ten Pictures just announced they are planning a remake of their Left Behind movie. Not the whole series (yet), just the first film. For those who don’t remember, here’s a quick recap. Cloud Ten made four films based on the popular books by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins.

Fan of the films or not, you can’t deny the popularity of the franchise, which sold some 10 million + DVDs worldwide.

Creative differences led to a legal mess that was settled quite some time ago, and Cloud Ten Pictures regained the film rights on October 1 of this year.

So now they’re raising money to remake the first film. Planning to go into production in late 2011.
