Cloud Ten Pictures has confirmed that they are in production (see imdb page) on a remake of LB & it's going to star Nicholas Cage (which role I have no idea as there are no other actors mentioned nor parts listed). The movie is due to come out in 2014....that is if the Mayans weren't right - lol. :)
shareIf this is true then, realistically, the only role I think Cage would fit would be Rayford Steele. He is too old for Buck or Nicolae Carpathia.

I think given they got Nic Cage, it's going to be...Left Behind with Nic Cage. I mean really, I don't see how his involvement is going to help make a better movie than the originals. It's not like the acting was poor in the originals.
