What anybody be offended?
Would anybody be offended if they made these movies R rated? The books themselves were pretty violent. If they made the movies as violent as the books (except maybe made it more stylized, had low camera shots with the bullets from the sub-machine guns falling, having blood splatter on the camera, have realistic looking guillotine beheadings, etc.), had the non-Christians use vulgar language, maybe had the Christians slip with an F-word every now and then, had real sex scenes between Ray and Hattie, and maybe had Ray a recovering alcoholic and drug addict.
