Would make a GREAT TV show

I would absolutely love for these books to be turned into a TV show. I think only a TV show would be able to do justice to the series. Too much information for a few movies to cover adequetly. I beleive their would be enough material to cover at least 3 seasons worth. Would anyone else be interested in seeing the Left Behind series turned into a TV show? yay or nay?

WALKING DEAD ... FALLING SKIES ... not much room left for another post-apocalypse series on television right now.

If it was made by an atheist -- maybe J. Michael Straczynski? I always liked the idea of an apocalypse Rapture film/show, but from a POV not Christian.

I think that they could cover the highlights in a 4 movie series where they range from 150-180 minutes.

It could work, you could use and develop more (and more gradually) the ensemble cast but it would be hard to eventually depict some of the judgments in that they would be both expensive and disturbing. If the book writers insisted on keeping a preachy tone, there probably wouldn't be enough viewers.
