impressions on this

The show's fun, good for kids. It needed a main villain ala a Shredder. Someone behind the monsters. The Wolf Syndicate arc was cool. Needed more of that. The latter seasons got too out there with their monsters. Like one ep he fights a superhero lol. And they lost some of the secondary characters, I assume due to budget. The finale "thanks' is fine, but it feels like it's setting up for a season 4.

Best season was the first one. Stacey was a stereotypical character but she had a good dynamic and Tommy. I liked seeing them get together after all the back and forth. The novelty of the concept helped and they stuck to monsters that I felt fit the show better. By the end, they were scraping the barrel for people for him. Aliens and Superheroes like wtf lol.

show is real corny. can't imagine anyone wanting to watch it unless they were nostalgic for it like i was.

No, the fun was how they parodied a different kind of genre/ type of movie every episode. The wolf syndicate and Butch as returning villains was enough.

The first season does have the best story ideas and humour, but Stacey was a terrible character. It does seem they started running out of ideas in season 3 and it became more like the Danny Smith show.

I'm rewatching the show right now and it's still entertaining. I feel it's more directed at older folks than children. I mean, I was 17 or something when I first saw the show.
