CORRECT episode guide- PLEASE HELP
Now I did notice a topic already on here asking about the original production order, but no one seemed to care?
Probably cause they just went into the make-up aspect of orders out of place, not the big problems.
If anyone knows of the right production order, please help.
I have such a problem with the episode airdate listing, which can be fount anywhere.
Examples?
spoiler alert, don't read on if haven't viewed first season.
The so-called season finale, Merton meets a freshman girl with glasses who thinks highly of him..... she already appeared twice before this with no explanation.
In that same episode, we come to the conclusion at the end that Tommy learns to have a better grip over his "wolfing out" when it comes to Stacey.
I was very curious, the episode before the season 1 "finale", he kisses Stacey at the end, with no wolfing out, well, except his hand.... just like the finale, game over.
A few other episodes towards the end of season 1, he also seems to be better around Stacey than usual. Which certainly leads me to believe that game over (the season 1 finale episode) is NOT the correct episode to end it. Personally, feels more like the episode before it, don't fear the reaper, was the proper ending.
After watching Stacey and Tommy throughout season 1, don't fear the reaper really gave me a sense of closure between the two. Felt more like the finale. But, could be wrong, thats beside the point.
Main thing- game over isn't proper finale.
a few other episodes near the end of season 1 also feel like they butchered the continuity. With the obvious 2 episodes where he wolfs out in original make-up.
And in one of those episodes, people seem to have a problem with the jock hanging out with the nerd?
When, earlier season, Merton comes right up to Stacey and she is perfectly fine and accepting of it.
And another 1 with original make-up, is the first time Stacey and Wolfie meet, which plays lightly into the season 1 plot.
Not a huge problem, but for development sake, it does kinda screw things up. Especially since it aired the episode right after Tommy (in wolf form) scared off Stacey to think he was the bad wolf. Now yes, the encounter after that with original make-up does give us a sense of redeeming qualities, with Stacey now not as terrified since wolf boy saved her, and she was still recovering from I think it was a blow to the head, still, if in production order, this could of been the first moment they met (as werewolf and stacey), with then later on Stacey being rescued by werewolf to know she wasn't seeing things. With then pushing forward with the plot of stacey and the wolf.
Another thing worth noting when it comes to the crumbling continuity near the end of season 1, Merton seemed to think highly of Professor Flugelhoff, until he fount out what an a**wipe he was. Merton then no longer looked to him as an influence in the study of werewolf. But then, near end of the season, he praises Flugelhoff just the same as he did PRIOR TO EPISODE 11, the episode where he encounters Flugelhoff.
As you can tell, its not the make-up that is the huge problem for me with episodes being out of placed, nor do I think thats the problem with others who demand the actual production list. The obvious problem is the p*ss the network took on this fine series. Not completely ruining it, but near the end of season 1, close to it.
game over as season 1 finale?
that kinda killed it for me. while a good episode, the one before it, don't fear the reaper, felt more in place with the production order and continuity with the series. with Tommy reveling his love for Stacey, Stacey the same, for the first time. and, giving the audience a fantastic feel of closure. Slightly also teasing that Tommy is the werewolf in front of Stacey, but never actually revealed.
With all this said, I am begging anyone out there,
where is the correct order of the episodes?
I think I could build a reasonable placement of how all the episodes were meant to be, but I want the full big wolf experience, how it was intended.
