Same here! It's an awesome movie, and I have no idea why so many people don't seem to like it. Perhaps it seems that not very many people have seen it either, considering it's box office draw, and to be honest by the comercials, it didn't look that good, but then my family rented it and we all love it! It's a crazy comedy, with John Hughes writing, and it's totally a fun movie to watch! If you haven't seen it cause it looked stupid, it isn't, and check it out!

john hughes did absolutely nothing but a mere adaptation, the story is from jean-marie poiré from the original film "les Visiteurs" in 1993 which is a classic, unlike this american remake which is, like any other worthy american remake, utter and unwatchable crap. unless you're into shallow american filmmaking; then this remake is for you.
also YES it IS stupid.

I SO AGREE!! I absolutely love this movie. When it saw it for the first time I laughed so hard. And I still laugh really hard whenever I see it. It's a great movie, and its a shame that not many people like it. Because this is an hilarious movie! I guess alot of people are stuck up bastards.
