Why did Nomak kill himself?
Seemed kind of weird. After killing like 300 security guards he decides to end it all?

shareSeriously?
He says because it feels good to end it all, no more hunger, no more fighting.

Besides killing a horde of guards he'd killed has father and his sister, so an emotional reaction could have been setting in.
Lets give Blade his props fellas. Nomak decided to hend things quicker by his own hands but Blade KILLED him. He was mortally wounded. Blade destroyed his heart (the vampire regenerative organ) thus shutting down his blood based regenerative function. He was a dead man walking already but just wanted to assert his will like a man in his final moments.
shareHe had just finally killed his father, which was his main goal. I think all he wanted was revenge for being made then abandoned when it was clear he was not immune to sunlight.
The Reaper hunger was like a constant burning to him, so when Blade stabbed him in the heart, he realised it would stop the constant pain/hunger once and for all.
'you say, why?
I say, why bother?'
I have to say that Sereaphangel was right, but I think there's more to it. I think that Nomak is a tragic character (albeit a badass one) who saw himself as a monster and that after being nearly killed by Blade, he decided to finish himself off just so he could stop living as a monster. He was, for the most part, a "normal" Vampire at the very beginning until his Reaper genes awakened and turned him into what we see during the rest of the movie. Now imagine how he felt being a Reaper for 72 hours along with the events of the movie. It's no wonder he killed himself.
Welcome to my Nightmare- Freddy Krueger
I agree with the above two posts. His goal was never to take over the world or anything. He wanted, on one level, acceptance from his father, and on another level, revenge. In the end, he didn't want to go on.
Killing his sister was pretty cold, though.
