is it just me or is the guy in the helicopter not snipes?

if you look closely enough, it doesn't look like snipes and it also looks like they intentionally obscured his face.

also i didn't catch his mouth moving at all during his lines.
what do you guys think?

I'm pretty sure that is snipes, even though he does look somewhat different in that scene. I don't really recall him saying anything during that scene. Although in the screenplay he did respond to Nyssa's "dissappointed" remark.

...Okay now I remember he did say the name of his Bomb that he concealed.

I'm pretty sure he did most of the scenes in this one. Blade Trinity, however...

could be dubbed over pretty easily.
his profile didn't look like him. guess we'll never know.

Most likely was his stunt double. I remember in the commentary David Goyer pointing out a few instances were they used Snipes double for a few insignificant scenes because because he hurt his hand or something during the production and wasn't available

His name is Clay Fotenot. He's Snipes' double in many of the Blade movies as well as others where Snipes has to do risky wire stunts or hard tumbles. Goyer especially over-credits him in many of the scenes of Blade III since he had a grudge against Snipes.

grudge?
over-credits?

It's not Snipes during the helicopter scene, you're correct. The director, Del Toro, confirms it on his solo commentary track on the DVD/blu-ray. It wasn't over any grudge or anything though, it was simply a scene they did after production was over and Snipes was already working on another film and had changed his hair so they brought in his stunt double and had Snipes do the voice after the fact.

Now, it's a whole different story on Blade Trinity. For that film, it's almost entirely his stunt double for practically the whole film because of the huge grudge match between Snipes and David Goyer, the director.

got ya.
i thought so.
in the 1st movie, you can see the stunt double all over the place.
it's like they didn't even try.
