We need a reboot!

This movie was awesome, but the third movie sucked ass and tried to redirect our attention not at Blade, but at the lameass wise-cracking sidekicks.

We need somebody who loves the first two movies and comics to take this and reboot it, just the way 1 and 2 were.

I agree. Get Snipes back to do another, ignore Trinity and build towards a Midnight Sons/Marvel Horror movie x-over. Ghost Rider, Blade, Dr. Strange, Man Thing, Morbius, etc.

Well once Snipes gets out of jail they should probably steer clear of Marvel. Well given Marvel Films, I don't think they could do anything with those characters. I don't even know if New Line still owns the rights. They should continue off the theme establish by Blade, Blade 2, and take inspiration from Blade the series. I certainly agree that Blade should not have a minor role in his own god damn movie.

reply

As long as David Goyer has anything to do with it Snipes will never do Blade again. I'm not totally sure why but those two hate each other.

In 2005, Snipes sued New Line Cinema, and David S. Goyer, director of Blade: Trinity, which Snipes also produced. He claimed that the studio did not pay his full salary, that he was intentionally cut out of casting decisions, and that his character's screen time was reduced in favor of co-stars Ryan Reynolds and Jessica Biel. The suit was later settled, but no details were released.

I agree about the third one sucking, but I remember a series or show, or movie that was made with a bald blade. It just made me laugh... to me blade is snipes, for better or worse.

reply

Idiot. If the last movie was a dud, it doesn't need a reboot. It can continue as is.
