Vampires vs energy weapons..
Having now watched all 3 Blade movies I love this series.
How would Blade type vampires fair against energy weapons?
Fine. Unless they're decapitated.

they would die.
the sun is one giant energy weapon. a laser would obliterate them plasma would any energy would. we already saw what happens to them with that laser that abigail uses in blade trinity
a lighter puts out energy - infra red. but it wouldn't kill a vamp (not unless you use it to set them on fire). has to be UV (whichever type of UV they use in the movies as there's more than one kind) and that was a UV laser basically - stated in the movie.
bullets move through flesh faster than it can tear so it stretches and snaps back at some point, so there's a minimal loss of mass (if any) whereas an energy weapon would disintegrate/vapourise flesh/body parts, needing more energy from the target to regenerate itself.
basically, there'd be parts missing in their body (depending on the power of the energy weapon) and it would take a chunk of their "health" to heal as opposed to a minimal amount for bullets. it's not like blade can take a laser pointer and kill vamps with it.
