A whole new world

Back in the day my brother was a big fan of this and BTVS. He even moderated on a Farscape board. But I only made fun of him. I guess I thought they were both for little kids based on my judgement of their promo pics.
I did, though, start watching BTVS around S4 and caught caught up in the nuance and clever writing and later binged the entire series.

Fast forward to a few months ago I was bored with most of the films I was watching and started looking for series to binge. I have a more open mind these days and am up for discovering whole new worlds...so I gave this a shot. It's on Amazon Prime.

I loved it (after I got through the somewhat goofy beginning).

It's a fantastic show and far more complicated then it seems at first glance.
I ended up loving these characters. Their chemistry is amazing and it's far more complex and nuanced then I ever would have thought. It deals heavily with things like PTSD, loss, betrayal, friendship, loyalty, war, bravery, trauma, selflessness, morality, vengeance, redemption and love..
This is now one of my favorite shows ever..
I wish they had had another season rather than a film but at least it was given closure.
