So a British bad egg kills Martin's son, and then Martin goes after ALL British, including the good eggs?
I don't get this sudden hatred Mel Gibson's character has towards ALL British, even though it was a single bad egg that killed his second-born and was going to kill his first-born, too. At the start of that scene, there is even a good egg Brit who thanks Martin for taking care of their wounded as well as the Rebel wounded, so Martin is happy to assist them at first.
What irks me is that after the bad egg kills his second son, he goes on a rampage to kill all of the British, including the good egg (who his son kills) when they personally haven't done anything to him... yet he doesn't go after the bad egg!
Strange plotting indeed, it just seemed like the perfect vehicle for Gibson to vent his anger on the English (since he thinks all Brits are English) who he hates, for no good reason.
