Kip is such an ass in the Directors Cut.
I've only seen the regular version of the film until last week when I saw the two hour "Directors Cut"-version and the extra scenes really made it feel different to me. The thing I felt even from the first movie was that Kip's attitude against Memphis did irritate me a little bit with the conversation "You was always the one who was going after the easy money" and when speaking with Atley at the hospital while waiting for Toby.
But Kip was way more an ass in the Directors Cut, don't you think? Especially at these parts:
-In the morning at Kips house, Kip didn't show any gratefulness at all to Memphis for him saving Kips life last night.
-While stealing the Ferraris - Memphis tried again to mention that Kip should be more serious and grateful regarding this - but Kip just didn't care (maybe because he had the wrong version of the story and would later get the real version from Atley, but still he acts very disrespectful).
-While Kip and his crew shows up and offers help to Memphis he starts to yell about "are you trying to get all the money from this boost" much more then in the normal version.
-And in the beginning while racing against the Honda Civic - Kip is much more disrespectful against the guy and the girl in the Honda than in the short version.
Did you notice this, too?
