I wonder if James Garner's character's nickname ,"Tank", has anything to do with his 1984 movie "TANK".....another movie of his that I really liked when I was a kid.

shareI wondered the same thing. I also wondered why Clint's character is named "Frank" in so many of his films. Is it a personal choice? Coincidence? Just sound good?
