There was a weird little line which was either a plot hole or a joke: when Frank first arrives and talks to "Cherie," he refers to Jerry as "your father," and she does not correct him.
Then Jerry comes off the roller coaster and plants a long, semi-tongueish kiss on Cherie. Not a word from Frank about, "gee I thought she was your daughter."
So for all Frank knows, maybe Jerry gets his kicks from french-kissing his own daughter. Considering what a world-class poon hound the movie made him out to be, maybe Frank thought, "doesn't surprise me a bit."

I think there was a lot of subtlety in that scene.
Firstly, Cheri kinda gives him a bit of a 'knowing smile' like "I know something you don't know" and then if you look at Franks reaction when he does kiss Cheri it's kinda 'oops' like.
Metafilm considerations would be, if Cheri was indeed Jerry's girlfriend, she would probably consider it rather annoying. EVERYONE has probably made comments about 'her father'.
