Space station scenes
How did they film the weightless scenes in the space station? Were they really in that environment or was it all cgi and wires and harness?

You didn't hear about it when the movie was being made???......yeah - they flew everyone & all the equipment into space on a Shuttle flight (the actors were stowed in the shuttle bay for the trip) and then they filmed everything in zero gravity....and after filming wrapped supposedly Clint Eastwood demanded to fly the Shuttle back and threatened NASA that if they didn't let him fly it he would introduce them to his two good friends: "Smith & Wesson".
Oh and btw....there was no Space Station scenes in this movie....they were attached to a Russian satellite which had nuclear missiles that could have vaporized the USA.....you can thank Tommy Lee Jones for attaching himself to it and flying it to the moon.
