KO vs. TKO - which is better to get?

I understand that you can get a TKO (with the exception of King Hippo) by knocking out the opponent 3 times in one round. Which is better to get - a KO or a TKO? If a KO is better, what should I do to assure that I will get a KO instead of a TKO?

Well in most cases except for with a few opponents, TKO is basically the faster way of winning. Most of the opponents requires to be taken round to round in order to KO. And unless you're an expert you may not be able to KO certain opponents, and there are only two opponents who can not be KO at all.
