The episode 6 of the first season of twilight zone 1985. The second segment called: "A Message From Charity", is very similar, and pretty good too. I recommend it.

The basic plot of "Frequency" is very similar to a Korean movie called "Ditto." Both movies came out in 2000, which makes me wonder which came first and did anyone steal the idea. Since it's an American movie, though, "Frequency" has to throw in some action and suspense, whereas "Ditto" is sorta more like a romance (that has a little politics/history thrown in). I like both movies for different reasons. I recommend watching "Ditto," if you don't mind subtitles.
