I still like it better than any Sandler movie that came after. The later movies didn't have the bat-shit crazy spirit of his first movies that I enjoyed so much. Same thing happened with Jim Carrey after Me, Myself and Irene.
They both made a couple of decent movies afterwards, but nothing like the pre-2001 movies that for my personal tastes in comedy were so gut bustingly funny.
I think this is one of his best movies.

shareI really like The Longest Yard as well. It's one of those movies that I say to myself that I won't watch it again whenever it's on TV, yet I always end up watching it. xd

shareThese days, you can tell Sandler is not even trying anymore, just another payday from a job which gives him and his buddies vacations to enjoy. It's as if he reached his creative high point then got bored once hitting a peak. Little Nicky is funny because it is aware of itself.
