What is a Wiffleball bat.

Hi guys I hail from sunny old England, and have no idea what a Wiffleball bat is. The reason I ask is because the Priest/Vicar/Whatever says, "Jesus this, Moses that, Abraham hit me with a wiffleball bat". Could someone please tell me what a Wiffleball bat is or looks like as it's been driving me mad. Hell, I don't even know if I have spelt it right. Many thanks dudes.

wiffleball is a gymnasium game that is pretty much baseball except with a plastic ball with holes in it and a plastic bat. the plastic bat is hence the wiffleball bat.

The official wiffle balls have slots on one side and are solid on the other. There are knockoffs that have wholes all around the ball. The bat is also very small in diameter. It's more like a 1.5 - 2 inch thick hollow pole with a tapered handle. Check out this link for complete explanation. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiffleball

As for getting hit with a wiffleball bat. It's hurts. They're pretty hard.
