It could work. It would be very difficult to get funding because of this adaptation
I don't think a remake would be possible since BE is classified as a crime against humanity, and if it isn't, it SHOULD be!

I enjoyed the book and feel it should get a tv series to wash the taste of this terrible film out of the general public's mouth.
