Damn I miss Nitro

I have to admit, when Nitro first aired I couldn't stand that show or WCW for that matter. I thought they only existed because Turner wanted to put Vince and WWE out of business (which was probably true). I also despised them for all the WWE talent they signed and prayed one day WWE would take them out. Well WWE finally did, and now I wish they hadn't because anyone who watches wrestling now knows how badly it sucks. And I think they reason WWE has been so horrible is because of the lack of competition. What sucks even more is that I don't think wrestling will ever be as big as it was in the late 90's. Hopefully TNA cable deal will put some pressure on WWE to beef up RAW, because right now I'm just not into it.

"Plus, there is nothing left to do that is original. Honestly, the evil owner... done. The dominating faction... done. The rebellious employee... done. Invasions... done. Acutal good workers on top...done. Honestly, the last two times the WWF exploded, it was right place right time"

Don't forget the father/son match ..done, the father/daughter feud
..done. I got many tapes of Nitro to keep me happy for a long
, long time, and I couldn't have said it than the first poster.

Well they did have Hogan, Goldberg, The Rock, Stonecold, Ric Flair all at once, unfortunettly, WWE does not know how to make use of old angles (the nWo angle actually had a chance to work in the WWE, cause it did, but they decided to make the quick buck and turn Hogan 1 month after he debuted back in WWE).

Hogan turning face and going red and yellow was inevitable. But, making the nWo job week in and week out after Hall was released and Nash hurt himself didn't help either. They put in guys like Booker T and Ric Flair which was a joke. They could have put in lower level guys (i.e Orton or Christian or whoever wasn't big at the time) and turned them into stars.

Of course, WWE f ucked it up.

Go ahead, make my day.

I miss the competition between Raw and Nitro. No one gives a crap about Raw vs Smackdown. Now I was (and still am) a die-hard Raw fan and for a little while I was happy to see WCW go down, now I realize that it was that competition that drove Vince to push new stars like Austin, Rock, HHH and so on. If TNA moves to a live Monday time slot directly against Raw, it will bring back the creative Vince and then it will be like the mid-late 90's again.

Of course that's only my opinion...and I could be wrong
