Let's bring back the WCW. I want to start an online petition to send to the WWE asking them to bring back WCW. I like the WWE and all but I want to see some new wrestlers besides the ones on the Raw and SmackDown! brands. I'm also tired of one company having two different World Heavyweight and Tag Team championships.

WCW Monday Nitro 96-98 was better than WWE is now in my opinion. They pushed talented wrestlers and big draws. Unlike WWE today.

"Hacksaw" Jum Duggan has more to do with the killing of Austin's WCW career than Flair did, hell, both were victims of Hogan and his flunkies when they moved in. Duggan squashed Austin within 30 seconds for the US title while Hogan annihilated Flair for the title upon his entry into the promotion.

if you read Flairs book he really didnt have anything to do with Austin getting fired because he was under some heat as well. He even liked austin and hoped that he would become a big star in the future just so he could stick it to Eric. If 2 people are responsible its Eric for not having any faith in his own talent and Hogan for only caring about himself and letting his boy Hacksaw win the the gold in 30 seconds.

you know, I talked about 1996-1998. If Austin was released in 1994, what does that have to do with anything? tell me please why wcw dominated in the ratings during 96 & 97 and almost put wwf's boring ass out of business.

wwe were going to lanch wcw again when they first bought it but when they couldn't get much of wcw's main talentso fans didn't really like the 'invasion' so they scraped the idea
shareI like the fact that they only bring back ECW. To many WWE fans, ECW was cool and WCW was the ultimate enemy. That's the only reason for only having ECW One Night Stand...because ECW went down while still having a huge fanbase, while every last WWE fan danced, cheered, and in other ways celebrated the demise of WCW.
Of course that's only my opinion...and I could be wrong

I looked on Wikipedia and they did state that WCW could be revived...but that has now dissapeared from the site! Apparantly it was going to take over Smackdown if it came back so instead we would have Friday Night WCW...
I would love to see WCW return, but I do think if Vince brought it back, he would really make it terrible! It wouldnt be anything like the classic WCW that made it what it was - espically as most of the roster will not participate because some of them are in retirement, while others have moved to TNA...
However they could still try to attract people from TNA who used to be WCW to move back, just to hurt TNA by stealing their wrestlers...like how WCW did to WWF!
