Why are some WCW tapes so expensive now?

I bought Bash at the Beach 96 and Hog Wild 96 and both were under 30 bucks, yet when I went to buy Fall Brawl 96 I can only find it for 150 bucks. Same thing for World War III 96 (thought it's called 97 on the box), then Starrcade 96 I found for cheap, but then starting with Superbrawl 97 (nWo Souled Out wasn't released on VHS from what I understand) they go back up to over 150 bucks again. Why is that? Why are some cheap buy some are mega expensive?

Two reasons:

1. WCW is a thing of the past. All novelty, vintage items increase in value, the rarer they get.
2. WCW is a gift from God Himself. It was probably the greatest thing the business/entertainment world ever produced, it was astounding and successful, but now its gone and gone for good. The artifacts of such an organization are very high in value, as a result.

Think of it as being an archaeologist and discovering artifacts of some ancient civilization. If you sold those artifacts to a museum, you would be set for life.

That doesn't explain why some are cheap and some are expensive.
