WCW DVD Possibilities

If they ever release WCW PPV's on DVD it won't be for a long time. WWE are going to be releasing each and every atleast big PPV that we know if that has history like Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series.

If they do however get to releasing WCW PPV's on DVD, what would you want them to release? Would you want them to do something different and release PPV's by year? What I mean by this is they release a box set of X amount of DVD's from the year 19?? to WCW's demise.

OR would you want them to do what they are doing with the WWE's PPV's and that is releasing them by event? Like getting every single Starrcade, Bash At The Beach, SuperBrawl etc.?

A Fall Brawl dvd sound great. 93-97 especially.

How bout a Best of Booker T?

Cruiserweights Volume 1

Best of tagteams (faces of fear, harlem heat, Public Enemey ect..)

Hulk Hogan (yes another one) Most Hogan dvd's only have Starcade 97 and Bash @ the beach 96 from his WCW days.

Luger and Savage should get some dvd sets too. But its unlikely Luger will get one.

And the Dungeon of Doom.(Thats unlikely too because they werent that memorable but cant blame a guy for trying)

Events I would want would be:

Fall Brawl for War Games
World War 3 for the 60 man 3 ring battle royal
Starrcade as it was WCW's WrestleMania
Bash At The Beach
Spring Stampede

But as WWE owns all WCW stuff their is no chance of WCW PPVs being re-released. Vince hates WCW and has never got over WCW beating the WWF for so long in '97. And Vince hating WCW still shows to this day by his humiliation of Bischoff at every chance he has and mistreating or destroying every star that WCW made. And not forgetting every time Vince mentions Bischoff or WCW he always shows WCW in a negative light and makes out that the WWF does and always has done everything possible to help other companies.

Sadly, i dont see it happening. Vince likes to pretend that the one company who could de-throne him never existed. Seriously watch that completely one-sided documentary "the monday night war" Vince acts like he ALWAYS had the better show and better talent.

Well it just shows you good triumphs over evil. It may take some time but that's how it went. Bitchoff did alot of underhanded business practices to try and win. They didn't workout. It has been known that they didn't know what they were doing in wcw so that's why they won the ratings for a lil while and in the end lost. only letting the same people be on top and never letting other people move up was stupid and in the end it hurt them alot I think.

Outside of giving away the results of the taped shows; Eric Bischoff didn't do a thing to the WWF that Vince didn't do to every other promotion years earlier. I always laugh when the Kool-Aid drinkers condemn Evil Eric for his underhanded shenanigans while holding Vince up as a smart businessman.

Captain, you have two choices. Either he was shot or your entire police department is blind.

I hope Vince and WWE burns in HELL. Eric was a smart man but gave in to Hogan and Nash's demands, all the creative control bollocks was a bad idea.

reply

I'd like the DVDs to include special features, like some of the Nitros leading up to them.
