Thunder Killed WCW

I was always a big fan of the WCW and Monday Nitro was always a lot better than the WWF/WWE with big matches throughout the show. The sets, wrestlers and storylines where a lot better however WWE had Raw and Smackdown which had superstars in each show however WCW had Thunder which barely had a good wrestler on it. It was full of rookie wrestlers just starting out and the main event was just any two wrestlers that where half good. It was like they done a draw and said Raven and DDP are pulled out the hate, and they'd say ah *beep* i have to fight again. If WCW had another event like Nitro,Raw and Smackdown they would have survived im sure, Nitro was a 5star event while Raw and Smackdown where 4stars, it was Thunder that killed the WCW as nobody wanted to watch that crap. What do you think??? This is my opinion id like to here yours!

thats all true but the fact iz Thunder should have been used more productivly and the point im making is if Thunder was on the level of Nitro WCW would have had WWF on the ropes. Thunder was the poorest excuse for a wrestling event and they could have used it to put people like Eddy Gurrero, Jerchio, Giant and Benoit in the main event. Instead they *beep* about with usless wrestlers. I no the rest of how WCW feel apart but it could have been avoided with another first class even like Nitro

Thunder was never supposed to be an equal of Nitro.

I swear, I love myself more than anyone I know. It's amazing.

dey werent up to standard either if WCW had two main shows like Raw and Smackdown their ratings would have been a lot better. Im not saying that it killed it alone but its a major factor WWF is better because it has two main shows were as WCW only really had 1 with Nitro

Back in the day (1999 and early 2000), I think that Smackdown! was intended to be a lesser show than Raw. Then it became more of an equal, then better, and look where it is now lol! I also remember in early-mid 1999 when Sunday Night Heat, was, entertaining, and actually played a part in some storylines. I can't believe guys like Stone Cold, Undertaker, HHH, and Kane where once on Heat!

Saying Thunder killed WCW would be the same as saying Smackdown is killing the WWE. Thunder was crap I give you that, but if they had followed the Smackdown formula, then you may have had an equal program to Nitro. But in the end, WCW was killed because of stagnant storylines and stupid backstage politics.

Of course that's only my opinion...and I could be wrong
