the way 1998 should have ended...

I think there should have been another major backlash from WCW against the nWo and have Ric Flair leading the charge. This would all begin in the Fall and lead to a REAL WCW vs. nWo showdown at STARCCADE '98.

Here's the card I would have had:

WCW World Heavyweight Championship
"Hollywood" Hulk Hogan (c) vs. Goldberg

No Disqualification Street Fight
Eric Bischoff (w/ Vincent & Scott Norton) vs. Ric Flair (w/ Arn Anderson)

Singles Match
Sting vs. Randy Savage (w/ Miss Elizabeth)

WCW United States Championship
Bret Hart (c) vs. Booker T.

Singles Match
Diamond Dallas Page vs. Scott Hall (w/The Giant)

Singles Match
Kevin Nash vs. Rey Mysterio

WCW World Television Championship
Billy Kidman (c) vs. Vampiro

WCW World Tag Team Championship
Scott Steiner & Buff Bagwell (c) vs. Chris Jericho & Chris Benoit

Triple Threat Match / WCW Cruiserweight Championship
Dean Malenko (c) vs. Eddie Guerrero vs. Juventud Guerra

What do you mean, "You people"?

I love that card but Vampiro wasn't in wcw in 98 .Also ,who would be the winners if these matches ?

That's a good card. The only things I'd change would be the tag title match, and someone replacing Vampiro (as the previous poster already said, he wasn't in WCW at the time).

By late 1998, I expected Bret Hart or Ultimate Warrior to end the NWO, or to play a part in doing so. If not for injuries and backstage differences, it could have been Goldberg since he was set to get revenge on the NWO. It was probably best that it was Goldberg or the Horsemen. The Horsemen getting revenge for the 2 previous Fall Brawl shows would have been fitting. 1998 was when the NWO became stale to me so I was hoping it would end or take a hiatus.

Reboot, restart or re-imagining is another word for remake
