great worker in mexico and mostly ok in ring when coming to wcw. but towards the end of wcw his ring work was becoming a little lazy and I did not ever like mic skills. that cath phrase " let me speak on this" had me wanting him to stop talking before every match
Years ago, my mom said something similar about Konnan's mic skills. Once, she said how that's "played out" after Konnan said his usual phrase. He had sick mic skills in TNA, that helped sell me on LAX. I don't know if he always that great on the mic.
Konnan is one of the most underrated wrestlers ever. He's one of the main guys I wanted elevated to the main event in WCW. I agree about his ring skills declining during his later WCW years. He was still charismatic, got some of the biggest reactions on the roster, and appealed to a lot of people. Not to mention he had an established fan base that could have been capitalized on. After going to TNA, I wanted him to be a top guy there. I don't know if his declining health contributed to that not happening.
Reboot, restart or re-imagining is another word for remake
