there is this wonderful song shot over streets of barcelona. i just loved the song and can't get that tune out of my head. and that is one of my favourite scenes in the film.

yes, the way every shot been desigened and edited, i think the song has a kind of very personal touch, which stands out quite distincly in the film. its one of those lyrical 'moments' ( and there are such many in this film)
also the way he has endorsed that tune to the city.....its just breathtakingly wonderful...

The song is Tajabone by Ismael Lo, I think he's from Senegal. I found the lyrics in the original language althought I have no idea what they mean :(

It's about a muslim tradition. Tajabone is collecting candy, food or money for children. This tradition is also a thanksgiving for muslims.

it's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, and I'm so glad Sr. Almodovar used it in his film, and in such an ironically appropriate scene. I found it on iTunes and listen to it quite often.
