I'm on a project in school about "Todo sobre mi madre". As you probably know, they use a part from "A Streetcar Named Desire" in this film, and in the end Stella leaves Stanley with her newborn son.. I've only seen "A Streetcar Named Desire" from 1995 with Alec Baldwin, and in this edition Stella DOESN'T leave Stanley. Does she do that the original edition - if you've seen it? Or is just something made up by Almodóvar? I hope you can help me..

Well, try to watch the Marlon Brando "Street Car Named Desire". It's old, I'm thinking it must be from the late 50's.

Brando plays Stanley, and Stella DOES leave him indeed. i hope it helps. great movie btw, and Marlon Brando's acting is amazing.

Thank you.. :) I've tried finding the version from 1951, but unfortunately every single moviestore in this tiny country is only having the version from 1995. But thanks for your help.. :)
