HELP

I'm an IB film student looking to study Almodovar's work in a paper i'm researching. So far my topic is depictions of femininity in film in Spanish and American films. So far, the films I have been looking at are All About My Mother, Bad Education and the American films Streetcar Named Desire and Virgin Suicides (If you've seen All About my Mother you'll recognize I picked Streetcare Named Desire for all the allusions to the film.) What I am wondering is, are there any other accessible Spanish or American films that anyone could reccomend that I should take a look at? Any help would be much appreciated.

Bad Education is actually a very masciline film, much more so than alot of Almodovars other work. Try looking at some of his early stuff, like 'Women on the verge...' and stuff like that.

try looking at a film called 'Solas' it could be an interesting one for a study on femininity - it's a slow but very interesting film.
